Blast machine "Shot Blast (Mechanical)"

We introduce a blast machine that is suitable for processing a single variety and operates solely with button controls.

The "Shot Blast (Mechanical)" is a blast machine that throws projectiles by having them enter an impeller-type blade hopper, where the blades rotate to propel the projectiles. It is suitable for processing a single type of product and operates with just a button. It can accommodate lot items. There are various machines available, but the key is to select the machine based on the product and purpose. 【Features】 ■ Capable of handling lot items, but suitable for thicker processed products ■ Ideal for processing a single type of product ■ Operates with just a button *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Comparison of Grid Blast Construction (Automatic Recovery Type Blast Equipment)

This is a comparison of grid blasting construction. Our company is fully equipped with large blasting facilities for both sand blasting and grid blasting.

◎Blast (Shot Blast / Grit Blast / Sand Blast / Type 1 Surface Preparation) By spraying compressed air at high pressure together with particles called abrasives and colliding them with the product, it removes dirt, grime, and paint from the surface. ◎Grit Blast (Blast / Type 1 Surface Preparation) One of the surface treatment (preparation) methods. There are four types of surface preparation, from Type 1 to Type 4, and blast is the substrate treatment of the highest grade, Type 1. ◎Sand Blast (Blast / Type 1 Surface Preparation) One of the surface treatment (preparation) methods. There are four types of surface preparation, from Type 1 to Type 4, and blast is the substrate treatment of the highest grade, Type 1. For large blast equipment, we have our own automatic recovery type blast machines. The size of the blast rooms is the same for both. Other abrasives can also be used for construction, so please feel free to consult us. Harada Iron Works Hiroshima Official Link

[Case Study] Removal of rust from cast metal parts on-site.

Low-dust blast treatment sponge jet! Providing various cleaning and washing solutions!

We would like to introduce a case study that addresses the issues faced by our customer in glass manufacturing. They were troubled by the problem of rust forming on the cast parts used to protect the furnace heaters, which caused rust to fall and adhere to the products. In response, we proposed on-site work using a "sponge jet," which involves blasting a media that contains aluminum oxide particles, a polishing material, encapsulated in a special urethane sponge. As a result, since there was almost no dust generated, it was possible to work without affecting the surrounding area by simply enclosing the workspace, and all processing was completed in one day without damaging the parts. [Issues] - There are over 200 parts, leading to the possibility of loss or mixing of parts. - The target parts are cast components that are prone to cracking. - The downtime of the furnace is short, requiring all rust removal work to be completed in one and a half days. - Since the work is done in the customer's factory using available space, sandblasting, which generates a lot of dust, cannot be used. - There are concerns that sandblasting may leave abrasive materials trapped in the gaps of the parts, causing defects. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Durability and Safety Improvement: The Amazing Aspects of Blast Processing 'Technical Documentation'

The coating lasts significantly longer! Blasting restores the shine to like-new condition, enhancing durability and safety as well.

"Blast" refers to a technique where a projectile material of about 1mm is shot at the surface of various materials, including metals, to remove rust, dirt, and surface residue, while also creating texture. By blasting before painting and removing the scale, the surface will not deteriorate and will last longer. Furthermore, while rusted products are often discarded, blasting can restore them to a shine like new, and continuously hammering the surface of the metal through blasting increases durability and safety. [Features] ■ Blasting before painting significantly extends the life of the paint ■ Creates texture on the surface, ensuring paint adheres well ■ Effectively removes rust and old paint ■ Restores a shine like new ■ Increases durability and safety *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

One option for removing rubber: Type 1 scraping!!

We will use 18 rubber rolls of φ220×5,500, removing the rubber with a blast to achieve a beautiful finish.

The rolls have aged, and the rubber has worn out and become unusable. In addition to the rubber, there are also issues like rust, so first, we will cleanly strip the rubber using a blast, and then we will reapply the rubber. It's pleasing to see the product beautifully revived! Please note that our company cannot handle rubber application work. Since the process of removing the rubber takes time, we will first strip the rubber from the rubber rolls using grit blasting after they arrive. Then, just before shipping, we will completely remove the rust with sandblasting and prepare for shipment. By removing the rubber and rust and reapplying the rubber, the product will be in like-new condition. Furthermore, the blasting creates a rough surface, which increases the surface area, improves the adhesion of the rubber, and enhances the durability of the product.
